As a rehabilitation therapist I have seen the negative effects of smoking that include the obvious health risks such as lung disease and respiratory system dysfunction. Smoking also negatively affects bone healing after orthopedic surgery and accelerates facial aging.  The statistics you share in the article are very interesting.  All the best.</description>
